CRA

The Cashmere Residents’ Association (CRA) is a not-for-profit registered society comprising a group of residents who act as a liaison between the community of Cashmere and outside parties such as the City Council, Regional Council and government agencies.
We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing this part of Christchurch. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make Cashmere a true reflection of the people who live here.

Be aware of fire risks this summer.

Here at cashmereresidents.org.nz, we are driven by a single goal; to dig in and work together to make Cashmere a better place for all of us.

We strive to build productive relationships with the Christchurch City Council (especially the Community Board) and our neighbouring suburbs.

Who We Are

A Distinct Identity

Christchurch City Council’s Long Term Plan and Annual Plan are important for the Cashmere area.

Possum Trapping

The trapping project we initiated in 2016 is a valued component of maintaining and growing native birdlife on the Port Hills. Contact us if you need a trap. We have several that you can hire.
